Dear justice4victims.org

I was truly horrified to find my daughter in need of urgent police attention just after 3am on a Sunday recently,
but they had NO ONE available to assist! Furthermore the following few days were to shock my faith in this
country’s justice system. My daughter was attacked in a taxi office and beaten up by 2 girls. This was not a
fight, nor an argument that got out of hand, but a pre-meditated attack.

The attackers had tried to take a bottle from the nightclub to use on her, but were stopped. She was repeatedly
kicked in the head and body, stabbed with the heel of a stiletto shoe into her chest on both sides, punched in the
head and face. The ringleader knelt on her chest, and whilst holding her hair at both sides of her head repeatedly
bashed her head into the floor. She was beaten from one side of the taxi office to the other whilst a man with the
attackers blocked the doorway. My daughter was begging for them to stop and kept asking what had she done. She was
left with concussion and severe swelling and bruising to her head. The taxi firm called the police whilst this was
happening and the police called back to say they had no one available to assist, to help her. She endured a
sustained attack of approx 10-15 minutes duration.

How can our laws allow this to be section 39 Assault? The lady who called the police explained that she had never
in her life seen such a horrific attack.

The attackers were quickly identified; the police officer had been to see the CCTV footage and said that the attack
was bad. On Thursday evening the officer called to let us know the girls had been arrested and had admitted the
offence, however, although he had pleaded this case with his sergeant, the oldest girl qualified for a caution. He
had stressed to the sergeant the severity of the attack, told them about the CCTV footage and how many independent
witnesses would testify, but this made no difference. The other girl had to be referred to a youth section as she
is only 16.

The 18 year old was given a caution for Assault.
The 16 year old received yet another Final Warning.
Where along the way did UK citizens lose the right to justice?

I for one intend to do all I can to try to make a difference for the victims in this country.
