Sentence Shame
Having seen reported time and time again in the Press some of the shamefully lenient sentences being handed out to violent offenders, we have been inspired to add this feature. It is the intention of justice4victims.org to compile the most complete and comprehensive gallery of offenders and cases in Britain to have been, in our opinion, sentenced inadequately, or released unjustly early. This gallery will be yet another campaign tool for our cause, and may even provide a focus for our attention.
We want your help in compiling this list; this is a sizeable task, we are sure you will agree. We ask that you tell us of cases you know in which the offender has been treated disproportionately lightly. You can ask us to feature cases in your local area or high profile national cases which you feel should be included - we don't want any lenient miscarriages of justice to escape our attention.
Simply give us the offender's name and the area he/she was tried in, and we'll do the rest - we do not require any information about you (justice4victims.org will research the validity of all submissions before publication).
