Dear justice4victims.org
Hi there,
Hope you are well. I'm contacting you from Pulse Films, a television production company where we're currently working on a documentary focussing on scars and the stories behind them, what they mean to people and how they relate to events in their lives.
As part of this we're hoping to speak to people who have scars as a result of some form of crime; obviously there's quite a broad spectrum for this. Ideally we're looking for stories where someone's scar has really changed their life or the way they think about themselves - both for bad and for good - someone whose scar really means something important to them.
We're not just interested in the big scars - small scars are equally as valid - it's more the stories and the relationship the person has with the scar that's important. I think it would be nice if we could get some unusual or unexpected stories, perhaps where the scar has actually given someone strength or helped to change their life in a positive way after an initially negative experience.
We'll be filming in around two or three weeks time in London or on location for the larger stories and can assist people who need to travel from other parts of the country.
Any help at all would be much appreciated.
